Here at 1st Uxbridge Scout Group we are proud of our sections.
Beavers
The youngest section available in the Scouting family.
- Young people aged between 6 and 8 years old
- Fun and Friends
- Have fun
Cubs
When Beavers get a little bolder (and older) they can become Cubs.
- Young people aged between 8-10½
- Larger packs split into Sixes
- More adventurous
Scouts
These are the oldest youth section in the group.
- Young people aged between 10½-14
- Larger Troops split into Patrols
- Even more adventurous

No Scout Group can run without the volunteers that give up a little of their spare time each week

Fun Fact
Did you know that 1st Uxbridge was one of the very first Scout Groups, and one of only a few groups who are allowed to wear the green necker.
Get involved
All scout sections Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will always need the help of the parents from time to time, from making drinks for the young people to making a cup of tea/coffee for the leaders
